We don't mean to flex... But we pride ourselves on creating high quality custom dental care. That's why every custom product comes with our perfect fit guarantee. If your custom products don't fit, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll remake them for free!

Perfect fit guarantee

Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. While we can greatly improve on your impressions if necessary, the accuracy of the fit is partially determined by the quality of the impressions you take.

We understand taking an impression may not be as easy for some people, so if you haven't already yet, check out our simple Video Tutorials and articles at our Help Centre. Afterall, we want you to enjoy the high quality products we pride ourselves on!

If your custom items do not fit in a way they can be used as intended, you can submit a returns form within 7 days of delivery for one of our dental technicians to review.

When approved, we'll send you the required impression trays and putty to retake your impressions, including a prepaid return satchel. Once your custom items and new impressions are returned, you will be entitled to a remake. All costs for a remake will be covered by us.

Storage instructions
Store your sports mouthguard in the provided protective case. Avoid exposure to sunlight or heat. Keep dry.

Recommended storage temperature: 5°C–35°C.

Cleaning and maintenance
It's important to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of your sports mouthguard. Do not eat or drink while wearing the sports mouthguard.

The Smileflex® Waves™ Cleansing Pod and Smileflex® Premium Cleansing Tablets deliver the best results, removing up to 99.9% of plaque, stains, odours, bacteria and pathogens.

If you're looking for alternative cleaning options, you can also use mild soaps such as curd soap, liquid soap, or dishwashing liquid. However, avoid heavily perfumed soaps.

It's not recommended to clean dental appliances with toothpaste, mouthwash, or water hotter than 50°C. Toothpaste contains abrasive particles that can scratch surfaces, trapping bacteria and making cleaning harder. Mouthwash often contains alcohol and other chemicals that can damage or discolour your appliance over time. Both can reduce the lifespan of your appliance.

Sterilisation
A sterilisation with gas and plasma (<50°C) is possible. Due to the product's thermolability, it is not autoclavable. For daily disinfection, Smileflex® Premium Sterilising Foam removes up to 99.9% of plaque, stains, odours, bacteria and pathogens.

Product safety information

Material Composition
The High Performance Sports Mouthguard is made from Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA).

The material has been tested for biocompatibility according to DIN EN ISO 10993-1 and does not affect the user’s biological safety.

The material is non-toxic and not made with Latex, does not contain DEHP (or other Phthalates), or Bisphenol A (BPA), and is monomer and gluten free.

The Home Impression Kit is a class 1 medical device and is registered in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. ID: 372392
