I have to say I was nervous about purchasing these, but it has been the easiest transaction and fabulous results.
Having lost my retainers on holiday, I was in desperate need for replacements. The dentist replacement fee was ridiculous, so I decided to take the plunge with smile flex.
I ordered both upper and lower set, once ordered, it arrived in a couple of days. Completing the molds was easy, there is a booklet provided and also a step by step video you can watch. It took me about 20-30 minutes to complete.
When your molds are completed, you just place them in a padded envelope and then box up and back in a return envelope ( all supplied to you)
To my surprise the turn around was less than a week and the fit is perfect, actually better than my original retainers.
I will definitely be back to get a back up set.

Only thing I'd say is, there should be a way to order another set of retainers down the track without having to do the impressions and pay full price for it all, considering you now have a record of what the impressions look like you should be able to just print and send.

I much preferred taking the impressions myself too. I have a bad gag reflex so sitting in a dentist chair freaks me out. I was able to do them in comfort at home.
